 Missouri
Care has an approved drug list for members and providers to use. The list includes
both generic and brand name drugs. Members can use the list to see which drugs are
available to them with a prescription from their Primary Care Provider (PCP) or
specialist. Providers can use it to see which drugs can be prescribed without Missouri
Care's approval.
Attention Missouri Care Members:
Please ask your PCP or specialist to prescribe drugs from this list whenever possible.
If you need a drug that is not on this list, your PCP will have to ask Missouri
Care first. This is true even for emergencies. Your PCP or pharmacist can do this
by faxing a request to Missouri Care's Prior Authorization Department at 1-866-207-6431.
